Join us at La Cosa Nostra at our infamous Italian inspired “Mobsters and Mafia Swing Ball” featuring the Anthony Howe Cotton Club Combo. In honour of our Italian guests, we are pulling out all the stops to ensure a night of mayhem and drama.
Make sure to come as a ‘Mafioso’ gentleman in a suit, trench-coat, adorned with hat, violin-case or even a machine gun. While ladies should think of elaborate gowns with impressive hats as an absolute must. Dress as you like but don’t miss the FUN as our ‘swing family’ celebrates with a evening of great music, fun games, floor shows and new friends.
That’s right… get onto the floor and feel the heat of the pursuit as we kick up our heels with the ever popular Anthony Howe Cotton Club Combo and dance the night away!
What’s in store?
Complimentary Swing Lesson
Join us at Leichardt Town Hall at 8.30pm sharp in your finest ‘Mobster or Mafia’ inspired clothing and take part in a complimentary Swing Lesson. This class will have you dancing simple steps to keep you on the floor to our fabulous band all night.
Floor Shows
Enjoy floor shows by our teaching team as well as some hometown favorites.
Fun and Games
It wouldn’t be a Swing Ball without the group Charleston, Shim Sam, Big Apple, Stranger Dancers, Snow Ball and much much more!

To purchase a ticket to the Mobster & Mafia Ball (if you don’t have a SSF Weekend or Social Pass), simply turn up and buy one from our friendly door staff. There is no need to pre-purchase a ticket or have a special pass.
AFTERWARDS – JOIN US AT THE LATE NIGHT PARTY!!!
Yes – At the very last minute we have organised a Late Night Party for those who want to kick on past 12midnight. Join us at Norton on Norton (1 Norton Street, Leichhardt) from 12midnight – LATE, entry is FREE. This will be an informal night… We will be drinking until 2am (with house music) and then as soon as the clock strikes 2 – The Swing Music comes out!!
