Swing Patrol is proud to present the sixth annual Sydney Jitterbug Championships. This event presents a great night of competition and entertainment, and a fantastic chance for all to social dance between heats. Bring your dancing shoes and come and celebrate swing dancing in its many exciting forms.
This year, the competition divisions will be:
1. Up and comers (for those who are fairly new to swing dancing)
2. Like a Virgin (for those who have never competed before)
3. Showcase
4. Strictly Lindy
5. Blues *New
6. Fast Foot
7. All Balboa Jam
8. Solo Charleston
9. Jack and Jill
10. Teams *New

Registrations to compete close on Fri Nov 6th 2009 at 5pm
Date: Friday 13th November, 2009
Venue: Balmain Town Hall, 370 Darling Street Balmain
Time: Doors open at 7.30 pm and competition begins at 8:00 pm.
Dress: Smart casual or anything ‘swing’
Drinks and nibblies: BYO
Parking: Metered parking ($3.20/hr) is available on Darling Street and time-restricted parking is available on nearby streets. Parking is free after 10pm.
Cost: $20 (Free with Gold or Social Pass)
AFTERWARDS – JOIN US AT THE LATE NIGHT PARTY!!!
After the comp, come and celebrate with the competitors at our late night party. Have a few drinks and dance till late to music provided by fabulous DJs.
Venue: The Glasshouse Bar, under the UTS Tower Building, 15 Broadway, Ultimo.
Time: 12 midnight to 3am
Dress: Whatever feels comfy
Drinks and nibblies: Bar service will be available (strictly no BYO).
Parking: At that time of night, you’ll find free parking along Harris St, Thomas St and Jones St.
Cost: $15 (Free with Gold Pass or Social Pass)
